Due to its historical significance, but also symbolic and ambient value, the memorial complex in Jablanica is today a national monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The retrospective exhibition "In the Honor of the Battle for Humanity" through photographs, documents and other exhibits, shows the history of this institution and tries to answer some of the key questions of contemporary museological practice in Bosnia and Herzegovina: How was the transformation process performed and what is the status of museum institutions, established with the aim of musealizing the Second World War in this area, today? How the changes, in the socio-political framework in which they operate, affect museums?
