The museum material is classified into five museum collections that are currently in the process of revision. The material is classified into the following collections: Collection of archives, Collection of three-dimensional objects, Collection of photographs, Collection of works of art and Collection of press releases.
In addition, the Museum preserves the architectural drawings, conceptual designs and implementation projects of the memorial complex of the Battle on the Neretva and the monument on Makljen, as well as thematic exhibition plans and ideological historical concepts of exhibitions organized at the Museum.
Although the Museum is not thematically focused on the history of the 1992-1995 war, press releases and archival material related to the activities of the IV Corps of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina are preserved in archives of the Museum.
The entire holdings of the Museum is available to researchers with prior announcement and approval.
